Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa is the emblem of the city ! Wherever you are, you can’t miss the tallest structure of the world ! Towering at 830m, it is truly an impressive building. I had the opportunity to visit the inside and enjoy the stunning view from the Sky Lounge observation deck at the 148th floor ! But what I really like was to capture the Burj Khalifa from other vantage points like the Palace Hotel, the Shangri La and even the rooftop of a private skyscraper !

Dubai Mall & City Walk

If you are a fashionista, the main attractions in Downtown are the Dubai Mall and the City Walk, respectively the largest mall of UAE and a European-style shopping avenue !

AROUND THE CITY

Dubai Creek & Old Town

Dubai is not only about futuristic sky scrapers ! The Old part of Dubai, down by the Creek is a nice spot to visit if you are looking for a genuine experience and know more about the traditional way of life. The Dubai’s Gold and Spice Souks are the highlights of Old Dubai.

Burj Al Arab

Another symbol of Dubai is the Burj Al Arab, one of the world’s most luxurious hotel. We did not have the chance to visit inside but admiring this sail-shaped landmark from the Jumeirah Public beach and Madinat Jumeirah was a really nice idea, especially at sunset !

EXPERIENCES

Hot Air Balloon

I love the desert ! I also love hot air balloon ! So having a hot air balloon ride over the desert was on top of my “things-to-do” list in Dubai. Thanks to @Ballooning_uae and @PlatinumHeritage, I had a memorable morning watching the sunrise over the sand dunes !

A World of Fun

The city offers many entertainment facilities and activities ! I experienced a few of them, from encountering marine wildlife at the Lost Chambers aquarium to enjoying amazing rides and attractions at the Motion Gate theme park and wandering in the flower power Miracle Garden.
